Medjoul (also spelled Medjool) is the biggest and softest of the popular date varieties, with a sticky texture often compared to sticky toffee pudding. These organic dates contain a single ingredient and provide 5.5g of fibre per 100g, with 65.5g of naturally occurring fruit sugars and no added sugar. At 281kcal per 100g they make a naturally sweet alternative to confectionery, and they suit vegan and vegetarian diets.

Are these dates pitted? No – they are whole Medjoul dates with the stone in. If you want prep-free dates for blending, our Dates Pitted Freeflow have the stones removed.

What is the difference between these and your non-organic Medjoul dates? Same large, soft variety – this listing is the organic option, while our Medjoul Dates are the natural (non-organic) line.

How should I store them? In a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Reseal the pouch after opening or move the dates to an airtight container.
